Soley Özer, PhD, Executive Director 

Soley Özer is a seasoned leader and a technology strategist with over two decades of experience in technology, strategy and organizational development, combined with a deep passion for community engagement and advocacy.  She has recently retired from Intel Corporation, where she served as the Strategic Assistant to the Logic Technology Development (LTD) Co-GM. Prior to that she has worked in Global Supply Chain RnD and LTD.  Soley has led strategic initiatives in supply chain R&D, competitive analysis, sustainability and consortium management, introducing cutting-edge technologies to advance Intel’s roadmap. She developed five generations of Thin Films as a Process Engineer.  Her work has resulted in three patents and trade secrets. She earned her PhD in Physical Chemistry from Arizona State University and conducted post-doctoral research at the University of Texas at Austin. 

Beyond her technical accomplishments, Soley has consistently prioritized mentoring and empowering women and girls in STEM fields. Her most meaningful accomplishments lie in her dedication to community outreach, mentorship, and advancing education and career opportunities for underrepresented groups in STEM. A lifelong learner, advocate and a mentor to the next generation of engineers, Soley is passionate about fostering community and a diverse and equitable workforce development.
